In the early 2010s, the industry growing the fastest in the Smokies was the distillery industry. In the mid-2010s, the fasted growing industry in the Smokies was the ziplining industry. In the late 2010s into early 2021 it was the roadside rollercoasters that were the top new thing getting developed throughout our area. Now, beginning sometime in 2022 and continuing to bring more in today, the fastest growing industry taking the center spotlight are recreational vehicle rentals in the Smokies.
What are recreation vehicles? Vehicles designed with an emphasis on being fun, unique experiences for most people, comfortable and yet rugged for taking road adventures from one end of the Smokies to another. Drive to Douglas Dam, Townsend, the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, the expansive backroads of Gatlinburg and Pittman Center and many other places in a Jeep Wrangler, Razor UTV, Slingshot motorcycle, SUV, Can-Am UTV or a conventional car rental if that’s what you would prefer.
The majority of recreational vehicle rentals are located in Pigeon Forge and, in this article, we will list the providers out for you. Take a look and see if any of these bad boys would be a memorable addition for you and your family/group on an upcoming trip to the Smokies!
