The Ripley's Aquarium and Ober Gatlinburg, in particular, are recommended stops for family fun here in the city. Ober Gatlinburg is the city's personal amusement park located at the top of one of the high mountains here in Gatlinburg (which means you can take a scenic tram flying over Ski Mountain Rd. to get a bird's eye view of everything) And Ripley's Aquarium, besides being the largest and most exquisite Aquarium in East Tennessee, is largely the city square for many events and activities. Don't leave the Smokies without visiting them!
